In the clamping unit design of Konger special injection molding machines for fruit crates, bellows dust covers are standardly installed at the tail end of tie rods. This configuration is a customized key protection solution targeting the specific environmental pain points in fruit crate production workshops.
Due to raw material crushing, material transfer and equipment operation in fruit crate injection workshops, a large amount of plastic dust and granular impurities tend to suspend in the air.
If dust adheres directly to the thread surface of tie rods, two major core problems will arise:
First, thread engagement will be obstructed during mold adjustment, causing jamming and abnormal noise, which impairs clamping precision and efficiency.
Second, long-term accumulated dust accelerates thread wear, shortens the service life of tie rods, and increases equipment maintenance costs and downtime.
The bellows dust cover adopts a multi-layer folded elastic structure with excellent stretchability and sealing performance.
It can fully wrap the threaded area at the tail of tie rods. Without interfering with the opening and closing movements of the clamping unit, it effectively blocks pollutants such as dust and debris.
This design not only ensures smooth mold adjustment and stable output of clamping force, but also reduces the frequency of thread cleaning and lubrication. It delivers reliable equipment support for continuous and high-efficiency fruit crate production.
